Jeeo Aur Jeene Do is an action crime drama. The movie follows the story of an honest police officer Jwala Singh (Danny Denzongpa) and his wife Seeta (Nutan), who are transported to the area ruled by dreaded dacoit Meharban Singh (Pran). When, Meharban’s wife gets pregnant and goes into labour, he abducts Seeta for helping him. Seeta agrees to help on a condition that he surrenders himself to the police, to which he agrees. While delivering the baby, Meharban’s wife dies, but his son survives. Meharban sticks to his words and surrenders himself to police while entrusting his son Ramesh to Seeta. When Seeta decides to raise Ramesh as her own, a rift develops in her married life and she is criticized to keep the son of a criminal. Will Seeta still be able to raise Ramesh and give him a good life, despite all the criticism and negativity?
