The story revolves around Pawan (Saif Ali Khan), the SHO of Jhamli police station, who is assigned to protect journalist Reema Dutta during her investigation into a series of missing children connected to influential godman Anand Shri (Saurabh Dwivedi). Their journey takes a dangerous turn when their convoy is ambushed by armed attackers. While one assailant is killed, the other manages to escape before eventually being captured. The investigation takes a shocking twist when the captured attacker, revealed to be a minor, confesses that Anand Shri ordered the attack and had subjected him to abuse. Determined to uncover the truth, Pawan realizes he can no longer stay detached from the case. Meanwhile, his personal life spirals into chaos when his younger brother Deepak (Saurabh Abrol) elopes with the woman he loves, pulling the family into a tense conflict with the village panchayat. Caught between his responsibilities as a police officer and the pressures of family and society, Pawan finds himself fighting battles on every front.
