Kedarnath is a romantic tale which is set in the pilgrimage site of Kedarnath in Uttarakhand. The story is that of a rich innocent brahmin girl Mukku (Sara Ali Khan) who is on her way to the auspicious temple of Kedarnath and is guided by a Muslim local guide Mansoor (Sushant Singh Rajput). A cloud burst disrupts their trip when the local guide saves the girl as both happen to fall in love. Is their love blessed by lord Shiva or the norms of the society will become a hindrance for both belong to different religions, all this is revealed in the story.
