Life Is Good is a family drama about a forty-year-old lonely and quiet man named Rameshwar (Jackie Shroff) who slowly feels disillusioned and his world slipping through his hands after losing his mother. With no wife or children, Rameshwar tries ways to tackle his own life and make changes he needs to in order to feel complete again. When he almost gives up all hope and tries to end his life, a six-year-old girl named Mishti (Ananya Vij) enters Rameshwar’s life. Ananya’s amazing spirit and zest give Rameshwar a new lease of life as he sees her blossom from a young girl into a woman. But as years pass by, he realizes that their time as friends may soon be over when he gets to know that Mishti is likely to shift to America with her fiancé. But Rameshwar in no way is prepared to lose another close person from his life. What does Rameshwar do? Does he force Mishti to stay back or figure out how to continue with his life all alone again?
