Lohardaga is a story based on true events that is set in the small town of Lohargada in Jharkhand state. The story is that of a youngster named Manu (Sarvadaman Shahdeo) who aspires to join the army and become the pride of his family town. On failing to get a proper job after several attempts Manu like thousands of poor innocent youngsters in Jharkhand, is misled to join the Naxals (Maoist), and later surrenders to get police jobs as promised under the scheme.
