Lucknow Central is a musical action thriller drama that revolves around Kishen Mohan Girhotra (Farhan Akhtar), a young aspiring singer who is an under-trial prisoner in Lucknow Central Jail. Kishen is desperate to escape the jail. Meanwhile, he learns about the band competition to be held in the Lucknow Central Jail and sees it as his only chance to escape from jail. He befriends four other prisoners and convinces them to join the band. Kishen’s life progresses and the music becomes an intricate part of his journey.
