Manmarziyaan is a love triangle involving Rumi Bagga (Taapsee Pannu), Robbie Bhatia (Abhishekh Bachchan) and Vicky Sandhu (Vicky Kaushal). Rumi and Vicky are in love but the latter does not have a goal, as he is not serious about his life, which goes against Rumi’s parents who get to know about their relationship. Rumi’s family get her to meet Robbie, a young and successful man who is looking for a girl like Rumi and wants to get married. What does Rumi do, does she opt for the carefree Vicky or Robbie who's husband material.
