Marudhar (Kunal Roy Kapur) is a simple working middle-class man who stays with his tyrant father, Ashok Pandey (Rajesh Sharma). Marudhar leads a boring life from home to office and back till one day his father finds a match for him. Without questioning his father’s choice, he meets the pretty Chitra from Lucknow and marries her. Without any experience in dealing with women and what it takes to start a family, Marudhar embarks on an emotional journey where he finds love, life, and family.
