Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola is a romantic comedy drama. The movie revolves around three characters, Harphool Singh Mandola a.k.a. Harry (Pankaj Kapur), his daughter Bijlee (Anushka Sharma) and his assistant Hukum Singh Matru (Imran Khan). The three live in a small village. Bijlee loves Matru but she is scared to accept her feelings for Matru. Things go haywire when Bijlee decides to marry the son of a powerful politician, Baadal (Arya Babbar). It is followed by chaos and hilarious situations.
