Mera Shikaar is an action drama. The movie follows the story of a brave and courageous woman named Bijli (Dimple Kapadia), who lives in a village with her father (Satyen Kappoo) and two sisters. Her father holds a grudge that he didn’t have a son, but she proves him wrong by earning livelihood for him. Their village gets a school master (Navin Nischol), who guides the farmers to do the business. This irks the Zamindar, Bhurelal (Prem Chopra), who earlier used to buy goods at low cost and sell them at high rate. He takes help of a cruel dacoit Changeza (Danny Denzongpa), who kills many important people in the village, while Bijli was out of the village. When she learns what happened, she is devastated and vows vengeance. She finds the help of a man named Ravi (Kabir Bedi), an expert in Martial Arts, to fight Changeza. Will Bijli succeed in setting the score right with Changeza and Bhurelal?
