Sameer Kakkar was an actor who primarily appeared in TV shows and Hindi films and mostly remembered for his role as a drunkard in the TV show ‘Nukkad’, ‘Circus' and ‘Shrimaan Shrimati’. He graduated to the big screen in 1987 with Jawab Hum Denge and Pushpak. His other prominent roles were in films like Shahenshah, Parinda, Rakhwala, Guru, Shehzaade, Vardi, Awwal Number, Jai Ho and Hasee Toh Phasee, etc. He was last seen in Vikas Bahl's web-series Sunflower. He passed away at Mumbai on 15 March 2023 at the age of 70.
