Mohra is an action thriller drama that revolves around Vishal Agnihotri (Suniel Shetty), a young man, who is imprisoned for killing four criminals who brutally had raped and killed his sister-in-law. Years later, he saves a journalist named Roma Singh (Raveena Tandon), who visits the prison to cover the story of convicts in the jail, from the criminals who were trying to rape her. When Roma learns about his story, she is moved and fight for his justice and succeeds in getting him out of jail and helping him get a job under her boss, Mr. Jindal (Naseeruddin Shah). Jindal makes him work for him as his hitman and eliminates some of the dreaded gangsters of the city. But to stop Vishal from accomplishing his mission is inspector Amar (Akshay Kumar) who makes life miserable for the former but fails as he has the backing of Jindal. It is much later; Vishal realises that he is being used as the pawn. It is too late for Vishal to step back and restart his life as a normal man?
