Mumbaikar is an action thriller and a remake of Tamil film Maanagaram (2017). The story is based on the life of people at Mumbai who come to stay in the fast-paced city to fulfil their dreams and make living of it. But all is not hunky dowry for some people whose lives unknowingly get interlinked with each other that follows their journey as they navigate through the city and face various challenges and obstacles. A few linkups, misunderstandings and kidnappings lead to an unfortunate series of incidents that sets up proceeding for an unimaginable interesting finale.
