Newton (Rajkummar Rao) is a government servant who is sent to a politically sensitive and Naxal affected area in central India for election duty. He along with his team meet the security forces who help him set up a booth and advise him to return back as the Naxals may ambush the area anytime but Newton attempts to hold a fair and free election despite various obstacles.
