Noor is the screen adaptation of author Saba Imtiaz's book "Karachi, You're Killing Me!" Noor (Sonakshi Sinha) is a journalist who works on feature stories but wishes to do reporting. She is given assignments by her boss which doesn't interest her as she struggles with her life as well as with the demands of her career. One fine day she unearths an investigative news story thru a lead given by her servant maid but the story ends up going into the wrong hands making her realize what journalism is all about.
