Rashtra Kavach Om is an action thriller that revolves around Om Rathod (Aditya Roy Kapur) who is an undercover para-military agent and is ready to take on any given task when it comes to national security. Om is shot at during an all-important mission which is a botched covert operation. The attack leaves him half-dead along with a severe amnesia as well as a traumatic past where a fire had engulfed his home as a kid. As Om fumbles to find answers to his past and what made him lose his last mission, he is made to take on another mission which makes him take on the traitors who are out to sell the anti-nuclear defence system to the highest bidder. Om also has the task to simultaneously trace out his kidnapped father and prove to the world that he was not a traitor. Accompanying on this dangerous mission is Kavya (Sanjana Sanghi). How does Om go about making this mission a success is all what the climax showcases?
