One Day: Justice Delivered is a crime action drama, which revolves around a case of series of persons who go missing that involves high profile individuals. Justice Tyagi (Anupam Kher) who acquits the accused involved in the crime due to lack of evidence decides to take up the case post-retirement. However, the case lies with the crime branch but it decides to call upon special officer Laxmi Rathi (Esha Gupta) to further investigate the same. How the whole force gets cracking on the case and solves the mystery behind it is what the remaining story is all about.
