Pippa is a war drama based on the book written by Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta (Retd.) which is an adaptation of real life events that happened during the Battle of Garibpur in 1971. The story showcases his life during the Indo-Pak operations of 1971 when he as a young Indian army Captain belonging to the 45 Cavalry tank squadron had fought on the eastern front during the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971 along with his siblings. How he marshaled his troops by driving a Pippa tank through the waters to capture enemy territory.
