Prahaar: The Ujjwal Nikam Story chronicles the life of public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam, who represented Maharashtra in the trial of Ajmal Kasab, the only terrorist captured alive during the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Portrayed as a determined lawyer working without a supporting legal team, Nikam becomes deeply consumed by the pursuit of justice, dedicating himself to building an airtight case while neglecting his wife, Jyoti (Wamiqa Gabbi), and son, Aniket (Ritwik Sahore). Meanwhile, Kasab’s defence lawyer, Kazmi (Sikandar Kher), employs every possible legal strategy to argue that his client was framed by the Mumbai police. As the high-profile trial stretches over four years, Nikam faces the immense responsibility of securing justice amid intense legal battles. After exhausting all avenues of appeal, Kasab is hanged in 2012 at the age of 25, bringing the proceedings to a close.
