Qayamat is an action crime drama that follows the story of two school going friends, Shyam (Dharmendra) and Kamal (Shatrughan Sinha). In their childhood, Kamal fails to pay the school fees due to financial difficulties; however, Shyam helps him with his studies and Kamal is able to continue with his further studies. Growing up the two further develop their bond and friendship, but their friendship is tested when Shyam becomes a thief, while Kamal grows up becoming an honest cop. It is to be found, whether Kamal chooses his friend over duty or otherwise?
