Raazi is a spy-thriller drama based on Harinder Sikka's 2008 novel ‘Calling Sehmat’. The story is that of a young Kashmiri girl, Sehmat Khan (Alia Bhatt) who has been trained by the Indian Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) as an agent and is married into a Pakistani army family in order to relay all information to India before the beginning of the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. Sehmat does a good job before she decides to go back to India and avoid the bloodshed that she has witnessed while killing so many innocent people.
