Raincoat is a romantic drama. The movie revolves around Manoj (Ajay Devgn), a countryman, who is sent by his mother to collect the money for the wedding of his sister. Manoj manages to collect around INR 12,000 from his friends. He then goes to the place of his former fiancé Neerja (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan), who left Manoj to marry a rich guy. The two lovers meet after an eternity, and it is evident that the spark has not yet been obfuscated. After talking for a while, Neerja leaves to get food for Manoj. Manoj realizes that things aren’t the way they seem, and Neerja’s husband is no longer wealthy and rich as he was earlier. Neerja too realizes that Manoj is struggling a lot for the money. Despite the bitter past, the two decide to step up and help each other without the knowledge of the other.
