Rakht Charitra 1 is a political action thriller drama based on the life of politician Paritala Ravindra. The movie revolves around Pratap Ravi (Vivek Oberoi), a young politician. Pratap seeks to kill his rival Narasimha Reddy (Kota Srinivasa Rao) after the latter killed Pratap’s father and brother. Pratap kills almost everyone in Narasimha’s family with the help of his henchmen and rises to power by becoming the minister with the help of his mentor Shivaji Rao (Shatrughan Sinha). However, there is still someone who can bring Pratap’s downfall.
