Ramji Londonwaley is a family comedy-drama. The movie revolves around a naïve and simpleton village cook, Ramji (R. Madhavan). He finds a perfect suitor for his sister but must arrange money for her dowry. He decides to travel to London to work as a cook for a multi-millionaire London-based businessman’s family. However, things take a turn when he arrives in London and finds his employer is very sick, and eventually he passes away. Desperate to earn money, he starts working illegally. Further, he is forced to marry British citizen Samira (Samita Bangargi) because of immigration issues. How Ramji arranges money and returns home forms the rest of the plot.
