Razia Sultan is a biographical period drama set in the Mughal era. The movie follows the story of a brave woman named Razia Sultan (Hema Malini), who goes on to become the first empress of Delhi Sultanate. However, things fall apart and trouble bestows over her kingdom when Razia falls in love with Yakut Jamaluddin (Dharmendra), an Abyssinian slave.
