Sadak Chhap is a crime action drama. The movie follows the story of a street-smart petty thief Shankar (Jackie Shroff), who has never known his parents. The niece of a well-known politician Dharamdas (Amrish Puri), Natasha (Richa Sharma) falls in love with Shankar, but he is in love with Anju (Padmini Kolhapure). Shankar gets to know that his father is alive, and with the help of Natasha, he gets to meet him. Things take a turn, when he unveils the truth about the well-guarded conspiracy involving the people he has always known. What troubles Shankar has welcomed by learning about this conspiracy are still to be found.
