Salaam Namaste is a musical romantic comedy drama. The movie revolves around Nikhil ‘Nick’ Arora (Saif Ali Khan) and Ambar ‘Amby’ Malhotra (Preity Zinta), two Indians living in Melbourne, Australia. Nick, a cook, falls in love with Amby, an R.J. at a local radio station ‘Salaam Namaste’. They eventually decide to live together. Things go fine until Amby gets pregnant and Nick decides to move out. However, due to the tenant agreement, the two are forced to live together and they continue to argue for the next few months. Nick finds out that Amby is pregnant with twins, and finally realizes that he left Amby all alone when she needed him the most. He finally has a change of heart and is ready to take Amby and his children’s responsibility. However, will Amby forgive and get back to him?
