Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire is an action drama set in the fictional town of Khansaar which revolves around two childhood friends, Deva (Prabhas) and Varadharaja Mannaar (Prithviraj), who have grown up together and are inseparable. Everyone eyes for the throne of Khansaar and is ready to go to any extent to rule it. Varadharaja who is the worthy ruler of the throne is troubled by his stepbrother and that is when Deva is called in to rescue him. A few years pass when the story fast forwards to 2017, where a group of goons are after a girl named Aadhya (Shruti Haasan), who is coming to India from America. The goons have an old score to settle with Aadhya’s US-based father and plan to take revenge by killing Aadhya. To save her life, Deva is called to protect Aadhya. In a turn of events, Deva gets to know about a secret that makes him turn against Varadharaja as once good friends become sworn enemies. Who is behind the whole conspiracy and who finally will rule Khansaar forms the remaining part of the plot.
