Shaitaan is a psychological supernatural horror thriller and a remake of the Gujarati hit film Vash. The story revolves around Kabir (Ajay Devgn) and his family consisting of his wife, daughter and son. Kabir and his family visit a retreat to enjoy their weekend vacation where they encounter a mysterious man named Angad (R. Madhavan), who claims to be their well-wisher but his actions lead to using black magic to manipulate and torment the family. The family soon realize that they are in grave danger, and must fight for their survival against the evil forces. But as time passes, Kabir’s family is forced to confront their worst fears that leads to a timeless tale of battle between good and evil.
