Teen Patti is a thriller drama. The movie revolves around Venkat Subramaniam (Amitabh Bachchan), an Indian mathematics professor and a mathematics genius. Venkat receives a letter from a British mathematician Perci Trachtenberg (Ben Kingsley), who invites him to London to experiment with his theory in the casino of London. The letter, however, reminds Venkat of his guilt-ridden past. Venkat had cracked a theory that redefines the principles of probability and could be used to win the game of Teen Patti. The theory became the reason for the greed and embroiled him and some students in the dirty world of gambling.
