Thank You For Coming follows the story of 32-year-old Kanika Kapoor (Bhumi Pednekar) who is born to a single mother (Natasha Rastogi), a gynecologist who had a child out of wedlock and seems pretty unbothered about society. To avoid a similar fate to her mother Kanika from a young age tries dating different men looking to marry the one who gives her the first orgasm she’s ever had. Kanika meets her five best friends at a family gathering where she tearfully admits to Pallavi (Dolly Singh) and Tina (Shibani Bedi) that she's never had an orgasm. Kanika eventually decides to get engaged to her friend Jeevan (Pradhuman Singh Mall), where she invites all her friends and ex-es and parties hard after drinking to her content only to wake up the next morning to have finally attained her goal but doesn’t remember with whom.
