The Shaukeens is a romantic comedy-drama and the remake of Basu Chatterjee’s 1982 film Shaukeen. The movie follows the story of three old friends – Ashok ‘Lali’ Lalwani (Anupam Kher), Kamaldheer ‘KD’ Sharma (Annu Kapoor) and Harishankar ‘Pinky’ Goyal (Piyush Mishra). The three are bored of their regular lives and decide to go on a vacation in Mauritius to have some fun. In Mauritius, they meet Ahana Bakshi (Lisa Haydon), a beautiful social networking queen. They are attracted to her and try to woo her in their own ways one by one. Each one cooks up a story to make the other two friends feel that Ahana has fallen for him but finally, all the three come to know what she thinks of them.
