Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri follows the story of Rehaan Mehra, aka Ray (Kartik Aaryan), the doting son of celebrated wedding planner Pinky (Neena Gupta) who is based in the USA, and is a complete mama’s boy. During a vacation to Croatia, he crosses paths with Rumi Vardhan (Ananya Panday), a writer from Agra who lives in her ancestral home with her sister Jia (Chandni Bhabhda) and their father, Colonel Amar Wardhan Singh (Jackie Shroff). Initially at odds, Ray and Rumi gradually fall in love, and Ray begins to envision a future with her. However, with Jia preparing to marry Sukhi (Mohit Nehra) and move to Canada, and Amar growing old, Rumi faces a difficult choice. Fearing her father will be left alone if she moves abroad, she ends her relationship with Ray. What follows next in this romantic comedy drives the rest of the story.
