Uunchai is an adventure friendship drama about four old friends namely – Amit Srivastava (Amitabh Bachchan), Om Sharma (Anupam Kher), Javed Siddiqui (Boman Irani), and Bhupen (Danny Denzongpa), who reunite to celebrate and recall their good old days of friendship. Bhupen who belongs to the mountains suddenly passes away leaving a wish to bury his urns on Everest. Amit, Om, and Javed decide to fulfill Bhupen’s last wish as the three embark upon the journey of a lifetime leaving behind their cozy lives in Delhi. Helping them and cheering them to undertake this journey is Shraddha Gupta (Parineeti Chopra) a trekker guide at the Everest Base Camp. Despite their old age will the three fulfill their friend’s last wish, will friendship be a good enough motivation for them?
