Vadh 2 is a gripping prison thriller set inside Shivpuri Jail in Madhya Pradesh. Manju Singh (Neena Gupta), who has been serving a life sentence for a double murder since 1994, is just weeks away from her release. Over the years, she has earned the trust and affection of prison guard Shambhunath Mishra (Sanjay Mishra) and the jail staff. The situation changes when the strict and caste-conscious Prakash Singh (Kumud Mishra) takes over as the new superintendent. Unafraid of political pressure, he disciplines Keshav (Akkshay Dogra), the influential brother of an MLA, after the latter assaults a fellow inmate. Humiliated, Keshav provokes Prakash into a violent confrontation, but by the following morning, he mysteriously disappears from the prison. As investigator Ateet Singh (Amitt K. Singh) probes the case, suspicion falls on Prakash, Manju, and Shambhunath, uncovering a web of secrets that drives the rest of the story.
