Velle is a youthful romantic comedy about laughter, friendships, frenzy, and the unpredictability of life where Rishi a writer and director narrates a script to his girlfriend Rohini who is expected to play the female lead in his film. The story that Rishi narrates is about three school friends Rahul, Rambo and Raju who are famous as the ‘R3’ and are good for nothing (often termed as ‘Vellas’) and aren’t capable enough to decide what they want to do in life. Rahul falls in love with the school’s principal’s daughter Riya. In order to impress Riya’s father, the three plan to kidnap Riya but unfortunately the plan misfires as they find themselves amidst the chaos of life. Will these four ‘Vellas’ realize what life is all about by mending their ways or wait until life hits them in the face?
