1. Sayyeshaa Saigal - Arya
Daughter of actors Sumeet Saigal and Shaheen Banu, Sayyeshaa Saigal, mononymously known as Sayyeshaa, is an actor and dancer known for her works in Bollywood and Tamil movies. She started her acting career with the 2015 Telugu film Akhil. Later, she made her Bollywood debut in 2016 with Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay, alongside Ajay Devgn. It was followed by a series of her Tamil films. In 2019, the actress married South Indian actor, Arya, who was also her co-star in movies like Ghajinikanth (2018) and Kaappaan (2019). The couple even has a daughter named Ariana, who was born in 2021.
2. Khushboo Sundar - Prabhu Ganesan / Sundar C.
Born as Nakhat Khan, Khushboo Sundar is an Indian actress, politician, film producer and television presenter. She has worked in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi films. The actress started her career as a child artist in the 1980 film The Burning Train, and has also performed as child actor in movies like Naseeb (1981), Laawaris (1981), Kaalia (1981), etc. As an adult, she has acted in movies like Jaanoo (1985), Meri Jung (1985), Deewana Mujh Sa Nahin (1990), etc. In 1993, she married the well-known South Indian actor, Prabhu Ganesan, who is known for his works in Tamil movies like Sangili (1982), Tharaasu (1984), Manasukkul Mathappu (1988), etc. However, their marriage was short-lived and ended within four months. Later, in 2000, she married another South Indian actor, Sundar C., known for his notable work in Tamil films like Ullathai Allitha (1996), Winner (2003), etc., and after her marriage, she changed her name to Khushbu Sundar.
3. Vani Ganapathy / Sarika - Kamal Haasan
The Indian classical dancer and actress, Vani Ganapathy, also spelled as Vani Ganapati, started to perform at the age of seven and travelled across the world. She started her acting career in Bollywood with the 1973 film Pyaasi Nadi, which was followed by her role in the 1975 thriller film Andhera. In 1978, she married actor Kamal Haasan, who was her co-star in the 1975 Tamil movie Melnaattu Marumagal. She worked as Kamal Haasan’s costume designer after marriage, however, the two got divorced in 1988.
Another Bollywood actress, Sarika, who is known for her work in movies like Geet Gaata Chal (1975), Jyoti Bane Jwala (1980), Teesri Aankh (1982), Karishmaa (1984), Parzania (2005), Baabul (2006) and many more, also married the South Indian superstar Kamal Haasan in 1988. The couple has two daughters, actresses Shruti and Akshara Haasan. However, they separated in 2004.
4. Namrata Shirodkar - Mahesh Babu
The winner of Femina Miss India 1993 title, Namrata Shirodkar is an Indian actress and former model. She made her Bollywood debut with a small role in the 1998 film Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai, starring Salman Khan and Twinkle Khanna. She has also acted in movies like Hero Hindustani (1998), Vaastav: The Reality (1999), Hera Pheri (2000), LOC Kargil (2003) and many more. In 2000, Namrata met South Indian actor Mahesh Babu on the sets of the Telugu film Vamsee, and shortly after, the two began dating. Later, often referred as the cutest Bollywood and South Indian couple, the two tied knots in 2005 and became parents to two children.
5. Bharathi - Vishnuvardhan
Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, better known as Bharathi, is an Indian actress known primarily for her work in Kannada and Hindi films. She began her acting career with the 1966 Kannada film Love in Bangalore. Her career spans over five decades and she has acted in around 150 films. She made her Bollywood debut with A. Bhimsingh’s 1967 film Mehrban. She has also acted in movies like Sadhu Aur Shaitaan (1968), Purab Aur Paschim (1970), Mastana (1970), Duniya Kya Jane (1971), Hum Tum Aur Woh (1971), etc. In 1975, the actress married Kannada actor Vishnuvardhan, who is also referred as one of the most influential actors of Indian cinema. They have two adopted daughters - Keerthi and Chandana.
6. Jyothika Saravanan - Suriya
The Indian actress and producer, Jyothika Saravanan is one of the top actresses of Tamil cinema, who has also worked in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi films. She made her acting debut with Priyadarshan’s 1998 film Doli Saja Ke Rakhna, for which she received a nomination for the Filmfare Award in Best Female Debut category. She then acted in a series of Tamil films, including Vaali (1999), Thenali (2000), 12B (2001), Chandramukhi (2005), etc. The actress is married to Saravanan Sivakumar, popularly known by his stage name Suriya, who is an actor and producer, known for his works in Tamil cinema.
