Ali is an Indian actor, comedian and TV presenter. He has predominantly worked in Telugu films and has acted in over 1000 Telugu films. He started his career with the 1979 Telugu movie Nindu Norellu, directed by K. Raghavendra Rao. In Bollywood, he made his screen debut with the 1991 romantic musical drama Prem Qaidi, starring Karishma Kapoor and Harish Kumar in the main leads. Other Bollywood movies featuring him are Muqabla (1993), Total Dhamaal (2019) and Dabangg 3 (2019). In 1994, he married Zubeda Sultana and the couple has two daughters and a son.
