Liger is an action romantic drama about a mother Balamani (Ramya Krishna) and her son Vijay (Vijay Deverakonda) who travel all the way from Banaras to Mumbai to make her son realize her dream to take part in the kick-boxing national champion. Despite suffering from a stutter Vijay converts himself into a combination of fury and power that a lion and tiger possess to overcome every hurdle to make his mother's dream come true.
