Asin Thottumkal, better known by her first name Asin, is an Indian actress who has acted in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu films. She was an established actress of the South before she made her debut in Bollywood. Her first Bollywood film was A. R. Murugadoss’ thriller drama Ghajini (2008), alongside Aamir Khan. The movie was a commercial success and her performance was praised by critics and the audience. It was followed by her other Bollywood films like London Dreams (2009), Ready (2011), Housefull 2 (2012), Bol Bachchan (2012), Khiladi 786 (2012) and All is Well (2015). She married businessman Rahul Sharma in 2016 and gave birth to her daughter Arin in 2017.
