Ghajini is an action drama inspired by the Hollywood movie Memento. The story is that of a businessperson named Sanjay Singhania (Aamir Khan) who runs a mobile phone company. He accidentally meets Kalpana (Asin) and falls in love with her without revealing his identity. Unfortunately, Ghajini Dharmatma (Pradeep Rawat) in an encounter kills Kalpana while Sanjay is injured and develops anterograde amnesia (short-term memory loss). On regaining consciousness, Sanjay tries to avenge Kalpana’s death with the help of photographs and the permanent tattoos on his body.
