Chiranjeevi is an Indian actor who has predominantly worked in Telugu films and is often addressed as Megastar. He has starred in over 150 Telugu films and some Tamil, Kannada and Hindi films too. He made his screen debut with the 1978 Telugu film Pranam Khareedu. He has acted in a few Bollywood films, which include Ravi Raja Pinishetty’s Pratibandh (1990), and Aaj Ka Goonda Raj (1992) and Mahesh Bhatt’s The Gentleman (1994). In 1980, he married Surekha, who is the daughter of Telugu actor Allu Ramalingaiah. The couple has three children, including actor Ram Charan.
