Deepak Parashar is an actor, producer, and model who started his Bollywood career by assisting filmmaker Shyam Benegal in Ankur. He made his acting debut in 1980 in the film Aap To Aise Na The, which was followed by successful films such as Insaaf Ka Tarazu, Armaan, Shradhanjali, Nikaah, Sharaabi, Purani Haveli, Champion and others. He also forayed into television and was a participant in the reality show Bigg Boss.
