Pooja Batra is an Indian actress and model. She is the winner of the Femina Miss India International (1993) title. She used to model for product advertisements before starting her career in Bollywood. In 1997, she made her debut in Bollywood with the 1997 film Virasat opposite Anil Kapoor which was followed by Vishwa Vidhaata, directed by Farogh Siddique. Other movies featuring her include Bhai (1997), Saazish (1998), Haseena Maan Jaayegi (1999), Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye (2000), Jodi No. 1 (2001), Nayak: The Real Hero (2001), Talaash: The Hunt Begins (2003), Taj Mahal: An Eternal Love Story (2005), etc. In 2002, she married a doctor named Sonu S. Ahluwalia, however, the marriage ended with a divorce. In 2019, she married Indian film actor Nawab Shah.
