Pradeep Uppoor was a Hindi film producer who started his Bollywood career by producing the critically acclaimed movie Chakra in 1981. He thereafter went on to produce films like Ardh Satya, Hip Hip Hurray, Holi and Aghaat. He also produced a number of commercials, television serials, and documentaries, of which one of his most popular TV series was C.I.D. on Sony TV which he co-produced with B.P. Singh and the 2021 ZEE5 original film Nail Polish. He died in Singapore on 13 March 2023 after succumbing to cancer.
