3 Deewarein is a crime drama. The movie revolves around Chandrika (Juhi Chawla), a documentary filmmaker, who decides to make a film based on the lives of three men on death row – Jaggu (Jackie Shroff), Nagya (Nagesh Kukunoor) and Ishaan (Naseeruddin Shah). Jaggu, a poet and lawyer, murdered his wife as she was cheating on him. Nagya was arrested for killing his wife, but he claims it to be an accident as she fell off the sidewalk after a heated argument between the two. Ishaan was a robber, who was arrested for committing a murder while carrying out his usual robbery. While telling their story to Chandrika, the three men gradually start to reform themselves and even Chandrika finds redemption for her troubled marriage in the process.
