Andar Baahar is an action thriller drama. The movie revolves around a criminal named Raja (Anil Kapoor), who works with his partner Shera (Danny Denzongpa), and carries out looting. However, in their last robbery, Shera refuses to share the money, which creates tension between the two, and in the meantime, the police reach the location and arrest them. The two are sentenced to jail for a long period, but Shera manages to escape after some time. Police try to recapture him, but fail. Later, Inspector Ravi Khanna (Jackie Shroff) seeks permission from the department to bail Raja, so he can help on the mission to capture Shera. Will Inspector Ravi be able to recapture Shera with the help of Raja?
