Badhaai Ho Badhaai is a musical romantic drama. The movie revolves around two families in a neighbourhood – the D’Souzas and Chaddhas. The two families are good friends, and despite the different religions and beliefs, they celebrate every festival with cheer. However, when a daughter of Chaddha family – Anjali and the son of D’Souza family – Anthony falls in love, which creates a rift between the two families, as none accepts the match. Soon Anjali and Anthony elope and get married. Years later, a young man named Raja (Anil Kapoor) claiming to be Anjali and Anthony’s son comes to visit his paternal and maternal relatives. Initially shunned by both families, Raja eventually wins over the hearts of his grandparents. Things take a turn, when everyone realises that Raja isn’t who he claims to be. Why did Raja lie about his true identity? What is his main motive?
