Behen Hogi Teri is a romantic family comedy-drama. The movie revolves around Gattu (Rajkummar Rao), a jobless UPSC aspirant residing in Lucknow, who falls in love with Binny (Shruti Hassan), his neighbour. However, everyone forces him to treat her and all the girls in the neighbourhood as his sisters. Gattu wants to marry Binny but he must fight against his prejudice, convince his parents and neighbours, and face a criminal family who wants to make Binny their daughter-in-law.
