Bhoot is a supernatural horror drama. The movie revolves around a married couple Swati (Urmila Matondkar) and Vishal (Ajay Devgn). The couple rent an apartment, but little did they know that the apartment is haunted. It is revealed that the previous tenant of the house Manjeet (Barkha Madan), a widow, committed suicide after killing her son, and her spirit haunts the house. After a while, Swati starts to behave strangely. Vishal consults a doctor, but gets no success. Finally, Swati and Vishal’s maid calls an exorcist named Sarita (Rekha). Sarita sees Manjeet and her son’s spirit and advises Vishal to meet Manjeet’s mother, who can help calm her daughter’s spirit. With help of Manjeet’s mother, Vishal is able to learn the truth and decides to help Manjeet. Will Vishal be able to help Manjeet’s spirit and thus protect his wife?
